My family's visit to Chicago (Day Two)!

Last Saturday (a week ago), my family was in town. It was a bright and sunny day, so we decided to take the brown line to Lincoln Park. We explored the Diversey Harbor, the Nature Museum and the Lincoln Park Zoo. The Tiger must have been hungry because he made lots of noise, just short of a roar! It was so fun to watch. We decided we were all super hungry after all the cold weather walking and had a late brunch at R.J. Grunts. (Yes, Mr. F and I were constantly crabby because we were always hungry since my family was on West Coast time and never wanted to eat when we did.)Here's my little sister, Taters, and her boyfriend, chowing down. After an extended three hour brunch, we hopped in cabs to the John Hancock building. We rode up the 96 floors to check out this view! Yes, this is the view from the Women's restroom. The best and free view, plus we were so tired of the lines and from all our walking that we decided not to stay for a drink.
We stopped briefly at the American Girl Store on Michigan Ave.
I love Chicago. You can go for a foodie fest, lots of walking and amazing views all in a few short hours.
