Out and about in Downtown Boston

I loved Boston! My conference was centrally located and it wasn't too cold!
Staying at the Fairmont was a real treat. Just look at how lovely the lobby was...
There were gorgeous orchids next to the concierge.
They were below a fantastically beautiful and ornate chandelier.

Wandering around the downtown area through the Copley Plaza was thrilling and amazing too.
In addition to the Public Library, I visited the Old South Church.
I walked along Beacon Street with gorgeous leaves and cobblestones....
There were many lovely town homes and brownstones with ivy!
In the Boylston Plaza near the Prudential Center, there were tons of these cutouts, each one representing 10 homeless people. The 768 figures in the installation are for the Big Boston Warm Up. Each time someone donates a coat, a figurine gets a red heart! Check out http://www.bigbostonwarmup.com/ for more information!
The last day I was in Boston, my friend from Vermont and I walked along the Boston Harbor! It was beautiful, but unfortunately quite rainy. Due to Hurricane Ida's influence, it was raining heavily at times with strong winds!
Even so, the brick sidewalks looked pretty to me!
