We also drove towards the airport again and went to Cavu cellars. I loved the rolling Blue Mountains in the distance so I had to get a few pictures with that view!A little way down the street, decorated for Halloween was Ash Hollow. Ash Hollow has a wine called, "Headless Red" and a horse and rider to promote it too!We were lucky enough to meet the gorgeous horse that is featured on their labels and promotions! "The black horse rearing on the Headless Red label was imported in 2007 from Holland by Jennifer Gregory, Ash Hollow's general manager. The beautiful dark Grimm is a 10-year old trick-trained Friesian gelding. Grimm stands 16 ½ hands high and weighs about 1500 lbs. The gelding was taught to rear on command as shown on the label of Headless Red. Jennifer and Grimm are recognized figures as they frequently ride in local parades and exhibitions in the Walla Walla valley."
Saturday night, we met up with our old classmates in our old dorms, in our old sorority/fraternity houses, and at one of the local hotels downtown.
It was great to see all the girls! Everyone looked great, in fact, most people looked better than when we were all in college! We had dinner with friends at the Mill Creek Brew Pub, one of our old favorite haunts.Sunday morning, J and I went shopping at Studio Opal and picked up cute Toms! I got the University Navy Rope Soles and J got the black Glitter Toms. They are awesome and so comfortable. Mr. F thinks they look like ninja shoes too!
