A fabulous Julep Maven box came this weekend...with a raspberry color called Eva and a lovely liliac called Renee.
All the flower beds in Chicago are overflowing with tulips! We went to GT Fish and Oyster, with friends, on April Fool's Day. We had raw and fried oysters. We saw the Season Premiere of Game of Thrones with our Chicago besties and their new Tokanese kittens!
Mr. F now wants more kittens!Lewis and Clark remind us so much of our first cat, Foosa. Aren't they the cutest?
My cousin and I saw the Hunger Games last night! It was so fun to see the book come to life on the big screen. I loved seeing District 12 and how it looked like the Depression Era.
The train ride to the Capitol reminded me of when Dorothy lands in Oz and opens her door in Munckinland for the first time. It was bright and garish and overly cheery. It did not disappoint.
Next on my reading list, finishing my grandmother's and uncle's book, In His Name: A 35 Year Prayer Partnership and then The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao.
