I want to dance!

[source] Every since I bought my new Bloch ballet flats, I've wanted to dance. After seeing Heather Morris' dance moves I'm even more inspired. 

I'm not sure if I'm feeling more like hip hop dance classes or taking up ballet again, perhaps both.

Here are some of Heather Morris' dance tips, that I plan on employing:

"The simplest way to do something cool is the cross-turn. Like in the '80s — Michael Jackson did it. You jump and cross your legs together at the same time, and then spin out of it. That's it."

"You know what's really hot? Pop-and-locking, ticking. The moonwalk. Tricks like that.
The secret to moonwalking: You have to have slick shoes, or else your feet would get stuck. And you trick people. Your right foot pops, and you're pushing your left foot back, and once your left foot lands, you do the same thing. It just looks like you're gliding on air."

Ballet slippers for me!

I just got a great package in the mail today! I adore my new Bloch shoes! They are the Bloch Rosalina slippers that I ordered from ideeli.com.

 They came in such an pretty pink package too!

They are so awesome!

How adorable are these shoes?  They come in so many cute colors too!  I did a few pirouettes to test them out and they are so comfortable! These lovely shoes have inspired me to dance again. I found a great studio a 10 minute walk away. In addition to beginning ballet classes, they also have Yoga Booty Ballet, Barre Burn, Core Barre Ballet, and Ballet Body! 

After our condo sells, and we have an offer currently, I plan on signing up for all of these fun classes and buying more Bloch ballet flats!

Back in the day, life was full of fun exercise, like flag football and ballet. There were awesome costume parties, like when we all dressed up in togas. Or Winnie the Pooh and Piglet!! It was full of silliness and good friends. I do miss sorority teas and many excuses to dress up. I love looking at old pictures of college and having fond memories. My five year reunion is coming up and it's intimidating that it's already been that long. What are your favorite memories of college?

I'm currently multitasking, blogging and watching Samurai Champloo. These are the cute things I've been looking at on the web.The Ballerinas in the Countryside photo shoot featured on Frenchie and Flea!This cute kitty reminds me of my little Lilly!  I saw it on jaeve + things! Ballerinas and kitties make me think of this Brittney Lee print!  This kitty print is super fun too.  It's called Multitasking!
