I had the delicious french toast, brioche with caramel sauce, candied apples, Reese's pieces and peanuts. It may sound disgusting but the hodge podge of flavors came together beautifully.
My husband got the Soulard Slinger. It's hash browns, chili, sausage and eggs with cheddar cheese and green onions. The 5-Spot advertises, "It's dirt cheap, damn good and a drunk's dream."
After brunch we made a quick trip to University Village for some errands and to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine. [It's been heavily raining in Seattle for the last week.] Amazingly, my husband suggested we go into Anthropologie, usually he hates going with me because I spend soo much time in there! This beautiful horse shirt was the first thing I saw in the store. My husband picked out this lovely number for me!
I'm enamored with my new skirt from Anthropologie. t's the Bold Felicia Skirt "with boisterous chrysanthemums pop from flouncy tiers of washed silk. By Odille." The colors really pop and the material is so nice to the touch.
We wandered by the Trophy Cupcakes store, but we were too full from brunch to stop in. They had a beautiful window display too!
My husband surprised me again when we went into the Apple Store, he suggested we upgrade my labtop since I've been blogging so much! We picked out a brand new MacBook Pro! I love it. I'm still getting used to the the differences in uploading photos from a PC, but I'm learning fast!!
