C & R's wedding ceremony, July 21st, 2012

When we got back from our family hike, we were plesantly surprised to find the wedding party taking photos outside of our hotel. These are a few shots that I took from our balcony, paparazzi style!Lake Estes is a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. I was also able to get a quick picture of the bride and her mother before the ceremony!Mr. F was not as excited as I was to dress up, but he was happy to take many photos with me!The groom's niece and nephew, Kodi and Ryder, nearly stole the show as they walked down the aisle....until the bride came!

Doesn't her father look so proud? The bride and groom's dogs, Dexter and Maya were the ring bearers! It was a beautiful ceremony and the bride and groom wrote their own vows. The sky turned a dark blue with a possible storm but it never rained. It started to cleared up and became a beautiful light blue as the married couple walked down the aisle.Blue and white were the color schemes. Check out the awesome blue bridesmaid dresses from J.Crew!
[Last three photos by Maddie, from Facebook]How cool is this cake with chocolate pinecones?!?!
Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Fette Family Hiking

Last Saturday, Mr. F's family and I met for brunch before a long hike in the Rocky Mountain National Forest! Mr F and his Mom both wore visors and had similar beautiful bangs! We warmed up by walking around part of Lake Estes. We saw turkey vultures, posed for a few pictures on a beautiful bridge, and then drove to the Cub Lake trail head !It was perfect weather for hiking.
We got lots of great family photos too!
This is taken towards the beginning of the hike. There were many cute squirrels and chipmunks at the lake. They balanced on their hind legs and looked very cute!We thought they must have been chubby from all the hikers feeding them!Mr. F, his sister, her fiance and I waited by the lake for the parents to catch up and took a few more photos! It made my mother-in-law happy that we got a group one all together too!We finished our hike in the early afternoon, only an hour or so before the wedding started! Next up, a post with pictures from C and R's wedding ceremony!

C and R's rehearsal dinner in Estes Park, CO

My sister and brother in law got into Estes Park right before the rehearsal dinner. After we all dressed up, we took the minivan together toDevil's Gulch Road! The bride was so happy to see us! I was able to get a cute picture of the groom stealing a quick kiss. The father of the groom thanked everyone for coming to celebrate! The groom's nephew, Ryder, rode around on his two-wheeler making motorcycle noises. He is an absolutely adorable 4-year old!The family dog, Ruby, kept a close eye on him.It was great to spend more time with my sister-in-law and her fiance too!The bride and groom have a great sense of humor. This was the first appetizer in the buffet. We all enjoyed the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Do you know what they really are?The bride has a big family and it seemed like most of them made it for the rehearsal dinner. This is the bride and her Godmother, here are the bride's sisters, and more of Dexter!
The bride's sister, Maddie, took these last two photos!
